Keynote Speaker-- The Reverend Eugenia A. Gamble - eugeniagamble@charter.net
Having been raised in Greenville, AL, educated in Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky, and the pastor for First Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL from 1996-2005, The Reverend Eugenia A. GAmble is no stranger to the south. Yet, from these southern roots she has served the PC(USA) in many ways. She has spoken around the nation at conference centers, PW events, and as been the featured preacher on the Protestant Hour International Radio Broadcast. She has served pastorates in Colorado and been on staff in PC(USA) governing bodies. And, Eugenia has a heart for providing leadership and vision for First Light, Inc., a center for homeless women and children. Over the years she has published widely, such as Letters to the Angels, a Resource for Women and Worship; What Does Love Require? A Bible Study for Stewardship; and Glimpses of Home: Images of the Realm of God in Scripture (Associated Church Press Award of Excellence , 1st Place for Bible Study, 1995.) Her articles, essays, and poems have appeared in Horizons Magazine, The Presbyterian Outlook, Call to Worship, and The Worshipping Life, among others. Currently she is the Director of Spiritualk Development at the First Presbyterian Church in San Luis Obispo, CA.
